The M4A3 (76) W Sherman medium tank had proper armor and an outstanding main gun. It's powered by a 450hp Ford GAA V8 engine. During the design, the standardisation of parts and transportability of the tank were taken into consideration. Assembly line production which is still popular nowadays was used to make sure the Sherman manufacturers could run at full capacity. This was a strong guarantee for the Allies to win the final victory in WWII. On the Western Front, European residents sometimes climbed on the US M4A3 (76) W tanks to celebrate victory, liberation and freedom.
